NSU is the first private university of Bangladesh.This is one of the best leading private university in Bangladesh Which situated in Bashundhara, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The government in 1992 approved the establishment of the North South University under the Private University Act (PUA) 1992 (now replaced by PUA 2010). The university officially by the Prime Minister on February 10, 1993, was inaugurated on.

Academic Qualifications:

     • Combined GPA of 8.0 in both SSC and HSC with minimum GPA 3.5 in each.
     • GCE O-level and A-level: O-level in five subjects with Average Grade Point of 2.5 
        or above and A-  level in two subjects with Average Grade Point of 2.0 and 
        above; in the scale of A=5, B=4, C=3,D=2 &  E=1. (One E is acceptable, either 
        in O-level or in A-level) (One ‘E’ is acceptable, either in O-level or in A-level)

     • US High School Diploma or equivalent.
     • For CEE, CSE, EEE & ETE, applicants must have Math & Physics with minimum 
        B grade in HSC or C grade in A-level.
     • For Biochemistry, Microbiology & Environmental Science, applicants must have 
        Biology and Chemistry  at SSC/HSC or O/A-levels. ForBPharm, applicants 
        must have Biology & Chemistry,with minimum B grade in HSC and C grade in 
        A-level.

   Total : 200 Marks

   General Math – 50 MCQ – 60 Minutes

   Fill in the blanks (Grammar) – 50 MCQ – 20 Minutes

   Comprehension – 20 MCQ – 20 Marks – 20 Minutes

   Critical Reasoning & General Knowledge – 50 MCQ –  20 Minutes

   Essay Writing –  30 Marks 

  Who are  applying for Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy and Architecture Department, They will give  additional 30 marks exam on physics, chemistry, biology / Math.
