AUST is a Private Technical University located in Tejgaon Industrial Area, Dhaka, Bangladesh. This is one of the best leading private engineering university in Bangladesh. The University was founded by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission in 1995.

Bachelor's degrees of AUST are recognized by Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), the leading and one of the oldest universities in the public sector of Bangladesh, for pursuing M.Sc. courses offered by BUET. The relevant Degrees are also accredited with the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), Institute of Architects, Bangladesh (lAB) and the Institute of Textile Engineers & Technologists, Bangladesh (ITET). MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR SSC & HSC CANDIDATES :

For BBA: (i) HSC from any discipline
               (ii) GPA should not be less than 2.50 in both SSC & HSC (with additional subject).
               (iii) Sum of GPA of HSC and SSC should be minimum 6.0 (with additional subject).

For ENG: (i) HSC (Science) with Math, Physics, Chemistry.
                (ii) GPA in HSC should be minimum 3.5 (with additional subject)
                (iii) Sum of GPA of HSC and SSC should be minimum 8.0 (with additional subject).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR O & A-LEVEL CANDIDATES:

Faculty of Architecture & Planning and Faculty of Engineering : GCE O-level or its equivalent (with at least five subjects including Math, Physics, Chemistry and English) and GCE A-level or its equivalent in Math, Physics, Chemistry with minimum equivalent GPA of 3.5. Sum of equivalent GPA of GCE O & A-level should be minimum 8.0.

Faculty of Business and Social Sciences: GCE O-level or its equivalent in at least five subjects and GCE A-level or its equivalent in three subjects with minimum equivalent GPA of 2.50 in both O & A level. Sum of equivalent GPA of GCE O & A-level should be minimum 6.0.
